I finished sock #1 the same night I finished Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Since I still have sock #2 to do, I'll continue reading the graphic version of P & P & Z, as well as finish World War Z.
I love the pattern with the dropped stitches, and the odd coloration and striping suggests a bit of the Undead, even if no one else sees it. I can hardly believe it's Red Heart brand yarn.
That's red heart? Wow... is it fun to work with? I'll have to track you down some day and feel it!
